On behalf of Viyam Foundation < www.viyam.org >, quarterly meeting for the beneficiaries was conducted on 29th August 2010 @ Coimbatore Productivity Council Hall, Race Course, Coimbatore. It was great experience meeting the kids and celebrated the birthday of a couple of children. All of us enjoyed the speech and small stories by our Chief Guest, Mrs. B. Ramadevi. The kids had good time. And Finally, we, Viyam Foundation members, discussed the future plans. Still long miles to go...
Viyam Foundation is a non government, non-profit organization that aims at making the underprivileged children educationally well-equipped so that they will grow into self-confident and self-reliant human beings.
One’s childhood is a very important period in one’s life because the foundation for the whole life is laid only during that period. Most of us are fortunate to have a positive ‘foundation’ during our childhood. But, there are a few children who lack adequate care and support during their childhood and are likely to lose their future as the wings of their dreams are clipped at an early stage.
We, at Viyam Foundation are giving such children free education. We take care of their educational expenses for the whole academic year and help them realize their dreams. Our foundation hopes to lay such ‘foundation’ for many struggling children and to ‘construct’ a better future for many more. This will be possible only with the support of big-hearted people like you. Kindly support us in our mission.
